Serbia is thru to the Davis Cup semi-finals following a comeback 2-1 win over Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
Mikhail Kukushkin collected the opening level for Kazakhstan, beating Miomir Kecmanovic 7-6 (5), 4-6, 7-6 (11), after saving 4 match factors. The match lasted three hours and 18 minutes.
World no.1 Novak Djokovic stored Serbia’s hopes alive for a semi-final spot within the second match of the day when he cruised previous Alexander Bublik 6-3, 6-4 in a single hour and 16 minutes.
