JAKARTA – Indonesia will tighten customs checks at small ports to crackdown on the unlawful import of second-hand sneakers, the trade ministry stated on Monday, responding to a Reuters report that discovered footwear donated to a recycling scheme in Singapore was shipped to Indonesia.
