The act is used right here to say the quartet prevented D.C. residents from studying the reality concerning the investigation into the Commanders’ office surroundings. Final week, Snyder introduced a attainable sale of the staff with a gaggle led by Jeff Bezos, Jay-Z, Matthew McConaughey, and others allegedly combining forces with the curiosity in shopping for the franchise.

“For years the staff and its proprietor have triggered very actual and really critical hurt after which lied about it to dodge accountability and to proceed to rake in income,” Racine stated throughout a Thursday press convention saying the costs. “To date they appear to have gotten away with it, however that stops at the moment.

“We’ll subject subpoenas,’’ Racine stated. “We’ll search testimony below oath.’’

Commanders counsel John Brownlee and Stuart Nash stated in a press release,“Over two years in the past, Dan and Tanya Snyder acknowledged that an unacceptable office tradition had existed inside their group for a number of years they usually have apologized many occasions for permitting that to occur. We agree with AG Racine on one factor: the general public must know the reality. Though the lawsuit repeats numerous innuendo, half-truths and lies, we welcome this chance to defend the group — for the primary time — in a courtroom of legislation and to ascertain, as soon as and for all, what’s truth and what’s fiction.”

And here’s what NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said about the lawsuit, “We reject the legally unsound and factually baseless allegations made today by the D.C. Attorney General against the NFL and Commissioner Goodell and will vigorously defend against those claims.”

Snyder by himself is accused of covering up years of harassment and that the NFL allegedly allowed him to do so. There are financial penalties of up to $5,000 per incident of all parties allegedly lying to D.C. residents since July 2020, when the Washington Post article detailing the organization’s toxic workplace was released.
